Murmurmotion is an observation of the flight formation of European Starlings. Typically seen as pests for overpopulating, these birds can form together by the hundreds and thousands to fly in a smoke-like shape in a sort of magnetic collective conscious. Used as a metaphor to discuss the thought process, the study of murmurations are shown through movement (stop-motion video) and stillness (wall installations).
